We live life as a growing family who desires to express continual gratitude to a God who has changed each of us for His glory and our joy. Everyday, we do so by committing ourselves to serving His purposes. We receive His truths and walk them out practically with one another. Within small groups we call “Connect Groups,” we live life together.
Types of Groups
While Sundays are awesome for gathering together as one body, the only way to really meet & get to know people is to connect with them in a more personal setting. We have three different types of groups you can get involved with: Home Groups, Interest Groups, and Outreach Groups.
Home Groups all have one thing in common - they’re a chance for you to share your life with a handful of people that will be there to pray with you and encourage you. Other than that, each one has its own schedule & feel.
Interest Groups revolve around participating in or learning more about a particular topic. These groups are typically short-term. Current groups include book studies, cycling enthusiasts, gardening, health & nutrition, and parenting.
Outreach Groups practically serve the residents of Gainesville. Not only do they reach out to others, but through their service together, group members build strong, long-lasting friendships with each other. Some groups help with ReBuild Gainesville, American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, and St. Francis House, our local homeless shelter.
If you're interested in finding a group you can contact Pastor Ron at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the church office at (352) 331-7625.
