FLORIDA CORPORATE TAX CREDIT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

• The CTC Scholarship is a state-funded scholarship that qualifying students can use to attend The Rock School. The 2008-2009 award amount is $3950 toward the expenses related to attendance. This family is responsible for the balance of the tuition.

• The CTC Scholarship is awarded through a private organization on behalf of the state of Florida. The Rock School is not involved in the award process and cannot provide any information on the status of your application.

• The CTC Scholarship Eligibility Criteria was Established by Florida Law.

• Your total household income must be equal to or less than the amount established by the guidelines for the National Free and Reduced Lunch Program. (See Income Chart Below)

• Children entering grades 2 through 12 must have been in attendance at a Florida public school the school year prior to receiving the CTC Scholarship.

• Children entering kindergarten must be 5 years old on or by September 1st of the year of the scholarship award. Birth certificates must accompany applications for students entering K5 and 1st grade.

• If you qualify, you should apply online at www.ScholarshipFunding.org.

• Please note that receipt of a CTC Scholarship does not guarantee admission to The Rock School. Each prospective student is evaluated without regard to scholarship eligibility.

TUITION ASSISTANCE FOR QUALIFYING FAMILIES

The Rock School offers a limited number of scholarship discounts to families based on financial need.

• Financial Aid applications are evaluated by Family Financial Needs Assessment, an organization that assists Christian schools in determining financial eligibility. To apply, complete an application online at www.ffna1.com.

• All financial information submitted in the application is kept confidential by the FFNA. Once the application has been review (3-4 weeks), a report will be sent to The Rock School with a recommendation for tuition assistance. Your personal financial information is not reported to the school.

• Completion of a financial aid application does not guarantee admission to The Rock School.
