3rd Update 10:00AM 2/25/09
Dear Family,

Pastor Ron is steadily recovering and seeing improvement in his clarity of brain function. He has been moved out of SICU to a private room at Shands. He has been asking about current events like the FAMU game last night, which is very encouraging. He is still weak in body and needs rest/time for him to regain full control and function. Your prayers are felt and the results are evident in his progress, please continue to declare his full recovery with no lasting effects!

We will be sending out an update once each day, unless there are changes that you should know sooner.

With much love!

Pastor George

2nd Update 4:00PM 2/24/09 Dear Family,

As of this afternoon, we have received a good report from the doctors who are attending to Pastor Ron: the three pin-point “bleeders” on the lower backside of his brain have begun to heal themselves. We rejoice in knowing that God has healed them.

In addition, his thumb has been cleansed, stitched, and bandaged with clear indications that the laceration will recover nicely. And, the most exciting news to us has been, that it is very likely that Pastor Ron will possibly be moved out of the Intensive Care Unit to a private room later this evening. We are still standing strong and believing for his complete healing. Therefore, as I mentioned earlier this morning, I am asking each of you to continue to pray for his full recovery.

Also, the hospital is still firm in their request to have no visitors except for the immediate family and my pastoral team. I ask that you respect this decision as it provides Pastor Ron with something his body desperately needs at this time: rest.

We will keep you posted with daily updates, so please be on the lookout for them. And lastly, tonight after the Boys Basketball Game (win or lose), I am inviting our home fans to pray with me and Pastor Svend for Pastor Ron on center court.

Thank you again for your love and support.

With much love,

Pastor George

1st Update 9:43AM 2/24/09
Dear Family,

For those of you who know, and for those who have not yet heard, I am writing to inform you of what has taken place with Pastor Ron. On Monday, February 23rd, at 7:40AM, Pastor Ron was headed into our offices and was involved in a two car accident. As a result of the accident, he sustained trauma to his head along with some minor cuts and bruises.

After the initial tests, doctors discovered that he has three pin-point “bleeders” on the lower backside of his brain. He also fractured the thumb on his left hand. Currently, he is being monitored at one of the Intensive Care Units at Shands Hospital and is in stable condition, getting lots of rest. Please do not make plans to visit him because the hospital is currently not allowing visitors into the area he is in.

I, along with my pastors, staff and the Hyatt family, are believing for complete healing in Pastor Ron’s body. I am asking each of you to be in prayer and intercession over him as often as you can throughout the days ahead.

I also want to thank you for the love and support that you are showing the rest of the Hyatt family during this time. We will be sending out another update on Pastor Ron’s condition later this afternoon. Thank you in advance for your prayers over Pastor Ron.

With much love,
Pastor George Brantley

PS – Please withhold all phone calls, emails, and text messages to my personal cell phone. Stay tuned for the afternoon update instead. Thank you.
