Church and School offices closed for Thanksgiving holiday.

A Thanksgiving Experience is back! We are looking for families who would be willing to host International Students from the University of Florida for their Thanksgiving meal and traditions. If you are interested in showing the practical love of Christ to students who will not be returning to their countries during this great American holiday, we encourage you to sign-up. Simply fill out the requested information on the tear-off panel in a Rock bulletin or email Hector Gonzalez to get signed up.

Please make plans to attend a baby shower for the Babinetz family on December 6 from 2 - 4 pm at the home of Gina & Phillip Ferrara in Town of Tioga. Please see Gina Chong-You or Rachel Chong-You to give towards the group gift. Maps available in the church foyer.

M.O.R.E. - Medical Outreach Evangelism, a covenant group outreach from the Rock, works with Helping Hands Clinic providing medical care and supplies to the homeless within our community. On Monday, December 22, M.O.R.E is planning to serve a meal to the homeless at Helping Hands Clinic and would like to give out Christmas gifts of new twin size blankets, new package of white socks (men's or women's) and a new Bible to each one who comes that evening. We are asking for your help, either through bringing one of these items to the church to be collected before services Nov 23, Nov 30 and Dec 7, or by placing a monetary donation in the offering marked for "MORE Outreach." We are in need of expanding our Sunday morning transportation ministry. Each week, drivers use our Rock vans to bring to church and then return home those individuals in need of transportation to church. If you can serve in this area, complete the form on the tear-off tab in your church bulletin or email us to get signed up.

The Women's Resource and Medical Clinic, your local pro-life crisis pregnancy center, needs your support. One of it's partner's has graciously offered to match, dollar for dollar, all capital campaign contributions received now through December 31, 2008. The outstanding building loan amount is a little over 90 thousand dollars; the expectation of possibly paying it off is very exciting. Now is the time, if you have considered donating to this vital ministry, which empowers women (and men) to make a choice for life.
