TRS Basketball - Kids Night Date: Sat Feb 4th 2012 4:30 p.m. Location: The Rock School Gym 10 hours, 14 minutes
On Saturday, February 4th, it is our annual "Kids Night" where we have blow-ups rides, food and all sorts of activities for the kids before and during the basketball games. Halftime of the varsity girls and boys game will feature short scrimmages between two of our own elementary league teams. Its also "Senior Saturday" for our varsity girls team. So, come support them as they play their final home game for The Rock. All kids 18 and younger are FREE. Hope to see you there - GO LIONS!
Rock 'N Kids Workers: Important Meeting Date: Tue Feb 7th 2012 6:30 p.m. Location: The Rock: Family Room 3 days, 12 hours
Attention all Rock 'N Kids workers! There will be a worker's "Playtime Workshop" on Tuesday, February 7th, in The Family Room. The time for food will be 6:30pm and funtime will be at 7:00pm. You will have the chance to win movie theater giftcards, as well as gift cards to Willy's Mexican Grill, Starbucks or Coldstone Creamery!
Childcare will be provided for single parents and for those whose spouses have to work during our meeting. Please RSVP by Feb. 1st if you will be attending, and if so, and you plan on using the nursery for your children, please also tell us how many kids you'll be bringing so we can gather the appropriate amount of childcare workers.

Saturday, February 11th, is “Senior Saturday” for The Rock School varsity boys basketball team. We will honor our only senior, Ousmane Ba, in his final home game at The Rock Gym. It's also “Dollar Day,” so if you wear TRS apparel, you only have to pay $1 for admission. JV tips off at 1:00pm and varsity at approximately 2:30pm. We hope to see you there - GO LIONS!

Friday Nights of Worship

Every Friday night we're going to be having live worship at The Rock Downtown from 9:00pm to midnight. We believe we have a great opportunity to make an impact by simply engaging with God in this space at that time. If you feel called to be downtown or simply need a chance to be in the presence of God with others on a Friday night, you should definitely plan on being there.

The Rock of Gainesville currently conducting it’s first ever, church-wide book study titled “40 Days of Purpose” based on Rick Warren’s bestseller “The Purpose Drive Life.”
